I was invited to write a commentary for the December issue of Esquire Malaysia on Asyraf Haziq, the young Malaysian student who was caught on YouTube falling victim to rioters and looters during the summer London riots in 2011.

In November 2011, the R.AGE team – of which I was editor until Sept 2011 – was honoured with the gold award for Best in Social Media at the Asian Digital Media Awards 2011.

In July, NewMan magazine featured the results of a roundtable discuss with old and new media practitioners and personalities in Malaysia, including blogger Cheesie and entertainment journalist Daryl Goh. I was one of them, and this is the outcome.

In 2009, I was invited to speak alongside Professor Michael Netzley at a talk organised by the Malaysian Public Relations Consultants Association. I spoke about my sexperiences as a social media user, and talks about how Malaysians are using social media for different purposes.
