Saudi journalist faces trial over tweets – Al Jazeera The Stream

In late February 2012, I engaged with the Twitter account of Al Jazeera’s The Stream programme on the call for a death sentence Saudi journalist Hamza Kashgari. After a couple of tweets, I was asked to record my comments on a video to be used as a discussion point in the show.

I was invited to write a commentary for the December issue of Esquire Malaysia on Asyraf Haziq, the young Malaysian student who was caught on YouTube falling victim to rioters and looters during the summer London riots in 2011.
