In late February 2012, I engaged with the Twitter account of Al Jazeera’s The Stream programme on the call for a death sentence Saudi journalist Hamza Kashgari. After a couple of tweets, I was asked to record my comments on a video to be used as a discussion point in the show.

In November 2011, the R.AGE team – of which I was editor until Sept 2011 – was honoured with the gold award for Best in Social Media at the Asian Digital Media Awards 2011.

In conjunction with Breast Cancer month, I was interviewed by the Malaysian Women’s Weekly for its Men Speak column on why I chose to lend my support to cancer awareness.

In July, NewMan magazine featured the results of a roundtable discuss with old and new media practitioners and personalities in Malaysia, including blogger Cheesie and entertainment journalist Daryl Goh. I was one of them, and this is the outcome.
